We provide multiple solutions to remedy your storm water situation. A few solutions we offer are rip rap stabilization, water bars, straw matting and drainage swales.
Rip rap is a sharp edged stone varying from 3” all the way to 3’. This product is typically placed along areas with high volumes of water runoff. It can provide an aesthetically pleasing solution to your washed out slope, culvert outflow, drainage ditch and many other areas facing erosion issues.
Water bars are typically used in more rural and natural areas. You will often see them on ski areas and along hiking trails. Water bars consist of a depression in the ground to redirect watershed along a slope or trail.
We implement biodegradable straw matting on most of our projects that require any type of vegetation or grass regeneration. The matting helps stabilize the ground by adding a protective layer against rainfall. This layer holds moisture within the straw helping with the regrowth of grass and vegetation.
Drainage swale construction and management. Swales or “ditches” are commonly seen along the edges of fields and roadways. These swales are used to collect water runoff from man made and natural infrastructure. These swales often run to a lower section of the property allowing the water to flow to a designated area designed to handle water runoff.
JKT has done work for us on more than one occasion at various properties we manage. Most recently he redid all the reclaim and driveway repair getting rid of all the pot holes into a beautifully flat reclaimed surface. JKT did an outstanding job on three projects at my home. Brought new life to my wooded property -cleared, stumped, graded and seeded. Jacob did an outstanding job transforming my wooded property into a pasture for my horses.
